    What you'll do:

  • Take up the Supplier Quality Account Mgr (QAM) role. Be the contact window to supplier on quality requirements and performance.
  • Drive early supplier engagement in the NPI process, validate and (dis)approve release of products and processes at suppliers.
  • Report on performance, supports business reviews at suppliers
  • Control and (dis)approve changes of products and processes at suppliers using industry standard practices.
  • Be responsible for all quality related elements in supplier contracts, thus enabling cost of non-quality recovery
  • Be accountable for quick but complete resolution of complaints

    • Your qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in Quality, Procurement or Operations management
  • Strong knowledge in the Electronic Component technology area (Semiconductors, LEDs...) and their application in lighting products
  • Auditor qualifications and related experience
  • Thorough understanding of Quality Tools & modern engineering methods such as PPAP, D/PFMEA, MSA, control plans, SPC, Cpk, DfA, DfM, VE etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques (5xWhy, 8D, Fault tree etc.)
  • Influencing skills: collaborative yet can challenge confidently. Strong communicator
  • Acts with a sense of urgency
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or a related discipline
