- Build up supplier strategy and steer it in your responsible area
- Execute the global/regional supplier strategy in the defined responsible area
- Work closely together with major internal customers for their demand, forecast and projects ( localization)
- Build and maintain partnerships with qualified suppliers to optimize the balance between quality and cost in material field.
- Develop together with leadership team for further indirect purchasing organization and define concept with implementation & improvement roadmap
- Conduct negotiations and mentor for suppliers
- Contract management
- Supply risk management for your responsible area
- Master degree of engineering relevant (Or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 year experience as buyer preferably in the automotive industry
- Innovation and digitalization driver.
- Strong negotiating skills, a high level of strategic and conceptual thinking, team skills and acting as well as an analytical and independent way of working.
- Structural thinking
- English fluent.
- Results orientation, Innovative Thinking, Customer Focus, Team Skills.
