MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Before Serial Go:
  • Lead the clause by clause review with Engineering, Customers and Suppliers.
  • Define the manufacturing process of Bogie Assembly or Components Assembly.
  • Create and complete the method documentations.
  • Define tooling, jigs & equipment specifications requirements for production line.
  • Define workstation layouts, taking into account ergonomic and EHS rules and optimizing movements.
  • Perform P-FMEA.
  • Support Sourcing, SPQD for supplier selection, development.
  • Support supplier development process in case the process or components are outsourced.
  • Lead to achieve the manufacture line launching and FAI successfully.
  • Calculate and Finalize precise Method Time of work stations to achieve a sequencing balancing production line.
• After serial Go:
  • Industrialize retrofit after engineering changes: documentation, workstation definition / update.
  • Support Production to achieve manufacturing QCD (Quality - Cost - Delivery) targets.
• Other activities:
  • Perform the industrial costing during tender phase
  • Manage the requirements & activities of special process torque tightening and crimping(if needs).
  • Receiver or provider of technical transfer as per project needs
  • Other assignments where and when needed

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

• Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering

Desirable:

• Education background of Railway college

Experience

Mandatory:

• Manufacturing or Methods Engineering background with 5 years' experience and above, preferably in of Railway Bogie Assembly Company.
• Master skill of Manufacturing Process Engineering, writing Manufacturing work instructions, Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up, line balancing, etc.
• Master skill of CAD and 3D tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, ProE...)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge in Quality, EHS and Ergonomics.

Desirable:

• Experience of Bogie Assembling is preferred.
• Master Knowledge of torque tightening and crimping is preferred.
