- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
- Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Work closely with global engineering team to assess and translate the needs from process, production and other related functions into specifications, designs. Oversee product blueprint design.
- Perform checks and inspections throughout all stages of the project implement to ensure high quality, and budgets are kept, deadlines are met.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain documentation related to the projects, including specification, design, permits, budgetary documents, manufacture, installation, commissioning and hand-over etc.
- Special projects and assignments as ordered by superior and required by business.
- Participate in the Freudenberg "We All Take Care" program by creating and supporting a safe working environment, minimizing impacts on the environment and notifying the HSE department or Site Executive Officer of opportunities for improvement or areas of risk.
- Comply with corporate and company stated policies and procedures as well as all applicable laws established by local and state authorities.
- Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical, process equipment engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Min 8 years' experience in mechanical, engineering in the petroleum or chemical industry; Familiar with structure, electrical & Instrument, plumbing, HVAC system is preferred.
- Skilled use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software. Familiar with Microsoft Project software is preferred.
- Project management experience. Adept at spotting potential problems and finding appropriate solutions.
- Knowing equipment safety systems and processes. Knowledge in PSM (Process Safety Management) is preferred.
- Have an eye for good and state-of-the-art design.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic problem-solvers with strong attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team spirit and coordination skill.
- Good communication skill.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Be willing to travel or relocate.
- Good command of English – oral and written.
