    GCA Direct Transport Sales Air & LCL Manager

    Purpose of the Role

    Being responsible for driving forwarding business development and performance delivery across the area. Ownership the area sales and customer coverage, pipeline and actual sales performance management and delivery.

    Leading the team to hunt new Air and LCL business including local forwarders/coloaders.

    Key Responsibilities and Geography

  • Covered area AIR and LCL results
  • Lead the team to drive the sales/customer pipeline;
  • Drive sales excellency by managing the teams through sales performance mechanism; sales productivity and minimum sales standards;
  • Share best practices and case studies;
  • Drive Job file management excellence to include highest levels efficiency and accuracy.

  • Ensures consistent delivery in line with the brand.
  • Drives and builds strong relationships with customers.
  • Plans and deploys the understanding of customers' businesses and needs.
  • Reviews team performance, including customer experience, operations, and identifies possible issues in order to provide a better service and financial results.
  • Drives overall continuous improvement opportunities and change
  • Management, especially for file management and overall efficiency improvement.

  • Required experience & skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field/ Supply Chain and logistics experience will be preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics freight forwarding.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people management.
  • The position requires good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and local language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other technical software
  • The ability to effectively use technology (laptop phone, etc.) to communicate and maintain productivity while travelling is required.
