- Coordinate with suppliers to uphold Bradken's quality standards.
- Conduct supplier assessments and regular on-site audits for technical compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
- Identify new suppliers, audit their compliance, and monitor their performance.
- Address casting defects through problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Act as the main point of contact for supplier communications.
- Perform product inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports. Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a steel/iron foundry or heavy manufacturing industry with a focus on Product Sourcing and supplier management.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering documents, including drawings and CAD models.
- Proficiency in reading/writing English, spoken English is preferred - not essential
