KLA is seeking skilled Customer Support Engineers to join our Global Service Support Organization team in Milpitas CA Our comprehensive services include proactive management of tools expertise in optics image processing motion control worldwide service engineers 24/7 technical support teams knowledge management systems and an extensive parts network ensuring worldwide availability of partsResponsibilities
- Evaluates analyzes diagnoses troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site Ensures equipment enhances customer production Repairs modifies equipment at customer facility Evaluates equipment determines type extend problem Repairs involve board problems which can be performed using standard procedures system level problems have multiple causes no standard procedures exist Repair system level problems based on CSE's technical knowledge education training Board problems vs system level split 5050 In analyzing diagnosing equipment problems may access determine problem exists customer process such chemical leaks contamination result recommend shutdown fab due unsafe conditions Provides guidance technical assistance Installation Engineer installations sites installing dismantling demonstration machines Travels car airplane customer facility Conducts customer orientation training aspects maintenance support user applications Cross trains assists other field service engineers appropriate Prepares reports documentation engineering marketing sales re-occurring issues Makes recommendations improvements Independently prepares quotes customers labor travel expenses incurred parts needed Use discretion preparing quotes reason failure time prepare etc
