- Creating mechanical designs as 3D models for both assemblies and single parts
- Deriving 2D drawings and implements them into the required tools
- Deriving Bill Of Material (BOM) and implements them into the required tools
- Creating images required for internal and external documents as well as software tool front end screens
- Sourcing and reviewing prototype parts/ 0-series
- Executing mechanical calculations resulting in input for guidelines and/ or mechanical designs (e.g. air flow calculation, force calculation, electrical device coordination, etc.)
- Being a technical author for internal and external manufacturing documentation in English
- Mechanical background, 35 years working experience
- Master and relevant industry experience are preferred
- Excellent skill at Solidworks and Auto-CAD is required
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with the relevant IEC standard is desirable
