I am an environmental microbiologist with over 8 years of research experience, specializing in microbial ecology, biogeochemical cycling, environmental remediation and bioinformatics.

I am an environmental microbiologist with over 8 years of experience specializing in microbial ecology, molecular microbiology, biogeochemical processes, and environmental remediation. I have expertise in microbial culturing, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, and the application of bioinoculants for environmental improvement. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Texas Tech University, where I focused on the impact of anthropogenic activities on soil microbial communities. During my doctoral research, I investigated the effects of diesel and biodiesel on microbial resistance and resilience in soil ecosystems. Following my Ph.D., I continued my research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Microbiology, Guangdong Academy of Sciences, where I worked on various environmental microbiology projects, including the role of cable bacteria in biogeochemical cycling and pollutant degradation.
