Isaac Akpemah Bathuure

I am an experienced Economics educator with a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s in Applied Economics, and a PGCE. I have taught IGCSE and A-Level Economics at international schools in China, demonstrating expertise in curriculum adaptation, student mentorship, and exam preparation. I’m skilled in lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and cross-cultural communication, with a passion for fostering inquiry and inclusivity.

I am an experienced Economics educator with 7 years of teaching experience, having taught IGCSE and A-Level Economics as well as Business Studies across diverse international settings. My career began at Jirapa Senior High School in Ghana, where I served as a high school Economics teacher, before taking on a teaching management assistant role during my Master’s studies at Jiangsu University, School of Finance and Economics in China. I later taught IGCSE Business Studies at The British School of Nanjing, China, and most recently served as an IGCSE and A-Level Economics teacher at Nanjing High School of Jiangsu Province, China. Throughout these roles, I have demonstrated expertise in curriculum adaptation, student mentorship, and exam preparation, consistently guiding learners toward academic success. I am highly skilled in lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and fostering inquiry-based learning, ensuring that students of diverse backgrounds are engaged and supported.
